I had the privilege of working as an edit trainee on My Father’s Shadow, an opportunity I got thanks to my participation in the ScreenSkills Film Trainee program.

I learned so much about the entire workflow in Avid: ingesting, editing, exporting, and preparing different types of deliverables for the vendors.

This project was such a thrill to be part of, and I feel so fortunate for all the recognition it’s getting after being nominated in the Un Certain Regard Category at Cannes and winning a Camera D’or Special mention. It is now the UK’s entry for the Best Foreign Film at the Oscars
