The Sun brought me on board to edit content for Fabulous Magazine. I worked on several formats with them, but this was the project I had the most fun cutting.

I started working on it from the very first episode — which turned out to be the toughest, since I joined halfway through and the format wasn’t fully defined yet. Once I shaped that first episode, I went on to edit all the following ones.

The series was unscripted and documentary-style, with no strict shot list, so every episode was about finding the story in the footage. It was more challenging than a scripted format, but also more rewarding.

I was supported by an edit assistant who managed the ingest, leaving me to focus on the cut itself: editing, VFX, music, and pacing. Deliverables included a main version for YouTube and shorter teaser versions for Facebook and Instagram.
